In three days we will be headed to Bolivia, South
America!!!! This is my first trip abroad,
a part of a short-term mission team and I am super pumped. I have a general idea of what to expect, yet I
have no idea what to expect. I have no preconceived
notions about short-term missions’ trips (abroad) and I know really little
about long-term missions. This trip is going
to be super eye and heart opening. As an
elementary school student, I told my parents that I would never go overseas or
participate in missions work out of the United States. Little did I know that God would do work and
began to give me a heart for the nations.
God definitely has done all the work and I can now say with full
confidence that I am thrilled to be a part of this team heading to
Bolivia. I am excited to see what God
has been doing in the hearts and lives of the Bolivians we are going to
meet. I am so blessed to have such an extraordinary
opportunity to see His hand at work in another culture.
One of the things I get most excited about, always, is other
people. I ABSOLUTELY love serving people
and getting to know them. I never tire
listening to stories. My favorite
stories are the stories of God's work in lives.
And to hear these stories in another country will be amazing!!!
Since you get to hear our stories about God's work in our
lives and his work in Bolivia, we would be remiss if we did not introduce
ourselves. And if you are praying for
us, it might be a bit easier if you had some faces to put with your prayers J
It should be noted that I “borrowed” these images from
somewhere else on the web and they represent images, I hope, that present the
best of my friends.
