Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! I am continually amazed and in awe beyond words by God’s amazing love, grace and faithfulness, and His constant answers to prayers! At the beginning of this mission, and during preparation in the months and weeks beforehand, one of the biggest specific prayer requests of mine was the preparation and readiness of the hearts of the Bolivians for salvation, and finally for the salvation of many. However, I always kept in mind that even if one soul came to Christ, the WHOLE mission is MORE than worth it! And EVEN if seeds were planted!!! But the awesome burden was still there, and I still prayed. J

At the university today, I was humbled and privileged to witness two young Boivian university students pray to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Hallelujah! As the whole team and I were mingling amongst the Bolivian students, I was led to a certain woman wearing an orange shirt. I guess you could say she was, in a way, led to me, as she sat down where I was putting my mandolin back in its case and she commented in English about the mandolin. I thanked her and we continued talking.

One thing led to another, her friend came and sat down on my other side, and the woman in the orange (I did get her name, but it is written down and packed away in my suitcase!) had all the questions that every Christ-sharing Christian wants to hear (Oh! She was sooo hungry!!), such as, after hearing about the separation between God and man due to sin, “But how do you get rid of that separation?”, and later, the greatest one of all, for me, was “And how do you receive  Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord?”!!!!!!!! The joy that surged within my heart was unspeakable.

As I continued  sharing the Gospel using the Four Spiritual Laws tract in both English and Spanish, when we got to the sample prayer to receive Christ, I asked them if they would like to pray and trust Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord today, right then, and they both said “Yes.”! So I led them in they prayer, they repeated after me, and I watched with a praise-filled heart as one of the cause for the heavens to rejoice happened right before my eyes. Praise the Lord, forever and ever!
God is soooo GREAT, all the time, and His love endures forever! God bless you!

Love in Christ,
Caitlyn
